And so I spent 6 days making a portrait of Scott Edgar and the Universe. Taken from a still of Tosswinkle, sketched out over Saturday, colour blocked in on the Sunday, smoothed out on Monday, fiddly hair and proportions on Tuesday, Wednesday's a bit of a blur, glasses and dark detail on the Thursday, Universe added, linseed oil smoothed over and taken to the show on Friday.
Good plan that worked out nicely. Currently propped up in my room with a nice autograph on the back (plus Scod's self portrait XD). The show was brilliant, phenomenal lineup and all sorts of absolute wonderful everywhere. Oil paint on canvas board, bit bigger'n A4, paint applied with cosmetic sponges and bobby pins... my paintbrushes and i just don't really get along very well. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
